The index selection is based on the annual S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). Only companies that rank among the most sustainable in their respective industries are included in the Best‑in‑Class indices. Knorr‑Bremse significantly improved its performance in this internationally recognized ESG evaluation (Environment, Social and Governance), increasing its score by nine points year on year. As a result, Knorr‑Bremse now ranks among the top five percent of companies worldwide in the ‘Machinery and Electrical Equipment’ industry (as of December 2025).
